Everyone wants an “AI Transformation,” but nobody wants to clean their warehouse.
Iโm watching the same movie play out every week.
Leadership demands “๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง” by third Quarter. An enterprise subscription is signed (with many zeros). The “Solution” starts producing/feeding ๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ญ๐ to employees or customers, and finally the project is labeled “๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ซ๐,” and AI gets the blame.
The cold but hard truth is that The “Magic Button” doesn’t exist.
There is only the boring, unsexy work that everyone avoids:
- Define the Problem, Then the Tool: Avoid “AI Tourism.” A demo without a specific business use case is just a waste of your team’s calendar.
- Trust the Data, Not the Model: AI canโt fix bad inputs. If your revenue metrics are fragmented, your AI outputs will be fiction.
- Governance Provides the Context: AI is only as smart as the data itโs allowed to see. Without your proprietary context, itโs just a generic chatbot.
- Judgment is Non-Negotiable: AI accelerates decision-making, it doesn’t replace it.
Human expertise is the only thing standing between a “prompt” and a disaster.
The bottom line?
